Where CapCut is better
Desktop and mobile apps, a paid tier with 4K and 1,400 monthly AI credits [C1], and far more effects and templates. For a long or heavily produced edit, a full editor is more comfortable than a browser tab, especially on a phone.
When to choose which
TonySkill's limits, stated plainly
- Export is 1080p at most; there is no app, and beyond 15 filters and 10 transitions there is no effects library.
- Everything runs on your device: exporting takes about 1 to 3 times the video's length on a computer, longer on a phone, and fails on very long or 4K projects if memory runs out [T].
- Files over 1 GB are refused [T]. Stabilization handles small shake, not big jolts, and crops 4% per side [T].
- I cited only tools that were available on 27 Oct 2026. Some other tools (such as video object removal) were marked "in improvement" and are left out.
