Kapwing's own pages contradict each other on free export length (4 min vs 1 min) and upload size (250 MB vs 2 GB). I report both rather than choose.
Where Kapwing is better
Cloud projects, 4K export and up to 120 minutes on paid plans [K1], and monthly AI credits [K1]. TonySkill stores nothing online.
When to choose which
- TonySkill: a quick fix on an ordinary file, no sign-up, no watermark, a file that stays on your device.
- Kapwing: projects you resume from any device, very long or 4K exports, if the $16 plan suits you.
TonySkill's limits, stated plainly
- No cloud storage, no 4K (1080p maximum), and beyond 15 filters and 10 transitions no effects library.
- It runs on your device: export takes about 1 to 3 times the video's length on a computer, longer on a phone, and can fail on long videos if memory runs out [T].
- Files over 1 GB are refused. Automatic captions cover 7 languages and need rereading [T]. Stabilization crops 4% per side [T].
