To remove a watermark from your own video, the cleanest way is to export it again from your original project without the logo. If you no longer have the original, the video eraser can erase a logo you click: it follows it through the clip and rebuilds the background, for videos of 30 seconds or less. Only use it on videos that belong to you: removing another creator's or a platform's watermark can break copyright and the platform's terms, and we do not offer that.
Only for videos that are yours
- Your own video with a logo you added, or an old watermark of your own channel when you have lost the original.
- Not another creator's video, a stock clip or a platform's watermark: that can infringe copyright, a licence or the platform's terms.
Before erasing, the cleaner options
- Export again without the logo from your editor or original project: no quality loss and nothing to guess.
- If the watermark only appears in the first or last seconds, cut those seconds with Trim video.
- If it sits at a corner of a video you will post vertically, Video editor can reframe it.
Erase a logo with the eraser
- Cut the video to 30 seconds or less with Trim video, keeping the part where the logo appears.
- Open the eraser, drop the video, then press Play and pause on a frame where the logo is clearly visible.
- Tap the logo on the picture; if it is large or long, tap several parts of it (8 points at most).
- Press “Erase the object” and wait: usually 1 to 2 minutes for a 30-second video, sometimes 4 to 5 minutes when the server has to wake up.
- Watch the whole result before downloading it, then download the video.
What to expect
| Today | |
|---|---|
| Length | 30 seconds at most (cut longer videos first with Trim video) |
| Size | 95 MB at most |
| Result | 720p video |
| Free tries | 2 a day without giving anything, 3 more with an e-mail address (this may change) |
| Where your video goes | Sent to a GPU computing service (Modal, United States), deleted right after; the result stays available 15 minutes |
| Quality | A logo over a moving picture is rebuilt from what the other frames show. Over a background that is never uncovered, the AI invents it and it can look blurry or unstable. We have not yet measured semi-transparent logos or text: a dedicated text mode is being prepared, so check the whole result. |
