How to straighten a photo taken at an angle

  1. Drop your photo above (JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC).

  2. Drag the 4 orange handles onto the corners of the object: card, page, screen… The magnifier helps you aim precisely.

How do I flatten a photo of a document taken at an angle?

Drop the photo, place the 4 handles on the corners of the page and click Straighten. The tool computes the perspective transform and outputs a perfect rectangle, like a scan. Tick “Scan look” to whiten the paper and boost text contrast.

How do I scan a Pokémon or trading card with my phone?

Take a photo of the card, even at an angle, then choose the “Trading card” shape: the result has the exact proportions of a standard card (63 × 88 mm), straight and with no border around it.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. All the processing happens in your browser, on your device. The photo never leaves your phone or computer.

What does the “Auto” shape do?

It recovers the real proportions of the object from the photo's perspective: an A4 page shot at an angle comes out as A4, a 16:9 screen as 16:9, with no stretching.

What is the maximum output size?

The result keeps the resolution of the selected area, up to 4000 pixels on the long side. Photos up to 200 MB are accepted.

Does the tool find the corners automatically?

When the object stands out clearly from the background, the corners are placed for you. Otherwise the handles start at the photo's corners and you move them by touch, mouse or keyboard (arrow keys, Shift to move faster).
