Frequently asked questions

How do I make a Pokémon card scan look like new?

Drop the scan and click Restore. The tool removes the yellow cast and haze, raises local contrast, revives colors with restraint, softens grain and dust, then brings back crispness. If the card was photographed at an angle, tick “Straighten and crop automatically”: its edges are detected and it is squared up to card proportions.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser, on your device. The image never leaves your phone or computer.

Can the result be worse than the original?

Corrections are tuned to stay natural: highlights are protected and saturation never turns neon. The before/after slider lets you judge, and Color, Sharpness and Noise reduction can be lowered at any time.

What image size is supported?

Up to 4000 pixels on the longest side; larger images are reduced to that size before processing.

Can I also upscale the image?

Yes: tick “Upscale ×2” or “Upscale ×4” before clicking Restore. Upscaling uses AI (Real-ESRGAN) in your browser; the model is downloaded once from our site and your image is never sent. It is slower (a few seconds to a few minutes) and the result is capped at 4096 × 4096 pixels.
